our guys patroling!
here are some pictures of the neares town, my friend Sara shared them with me, her hubby is on one of the pictures and the Commander is on another. There was a bombing a few day ago and they went out on patrol, so this are some pictures of the aftermat.

Wow...this is so beyond my comprehension. It's like a whole different world. (Okay, so it's a whole different country...but it seems even farther away than that from our lives, culturally and visually.) Comforting to see just how big the tanks are, though! Go Army! (And Marines and Navy and Air Force, but especially Army!)
